Root Canal Treatment ( RCT )

Conditions requiring root canal treatment

1)Irreversible pulpitis-Wherein the pulp( nerves and blood vessels within the tooth) goes into irreversible damage.

2) Chronic pulpitis- Wherin the pulp has undergone necrosis for a period of time leading to infection at the apex of the tooth root.

3) Intentional RCT- Usually carried out by the dentist, incases where there is a high possibility of pulp exposure during any dental procedure.

4) Cases of traumatic accidents leading to fracture of tooth and pulp exposure
